Optimasi Distribusi Air Bersih di Asrama TPB IPB

Abstract

One of the main issues of water distribution process relates to effectiveness of pumps operation. When a pump was turn on there will be a power surge that makes it requires higher power, such that initial power is much greater than normal power. In this manuscript, optimal use of pump for the water distribution at TPB IPB dormitory is discussed. That problem was modeled into an integer linear programming and solved by using LINGO 11.0 software. The model is solved to obtain the pump operation scheduling which minimize energy consumption of electricity.
