Dyslipidemia is a disorder of lipid levels in the blood and is one of the risk factors of cardiovascular and metabolic deseases. The study was conducted to analyze the subject characteristics; energy and nutrients intake; lifestyle; nutritional status and the relationship between those variables with lipid profile. Design of this study was cross sectional. Research was done in District of Bogor. Subject were 14 adult men and 22 women aged 24-56 years as with total cholesterol >200 mg/dl. Data includes primary data (nutrition knowledge) and secondary data (subject characteristics, medical history, body weight and height, lipid profiles, intake of energy and nutrients). Lipid profile were analyzed using venous blood serum with spectrophotometry. Pearson correlation test showed that there was positif relationship between the number of cigarettes smoking and blood triglycerides level (p<0.05) and a negative relationship between cholesterol intake and level level of HDL (p<0,05). Other variabels observed were not significantly related.
