dc.description.abstractCleanliness and comfort are important factors that supports successful execution of education and training. When conducive learning environment can be created, the learning process can be done optimally. Therefore janitor’s role as important as the spearhead in training service. So that, janitor human resources must be properly managed. Budget and Treasury Training Centre as a training institution has problems managing janitors that it is not done professionally and measurable. These problems including workload, motivation, and performance assessment of janitors which is still measured by manager’s estimates. These condition become the reason to do research which intend to create a clear scaling and mapping of workload, motivation, and performance of janitors. The research is done by measuring workload with Full Time Equivalent method, measuring motivation with Herzberg theory, designing performance assessment by specifying criterias for performance assessment, weighting criteria with Pairwise Comparison, and then assessing performance with a combination of rating and checklist assessment methods, and finally analizing relationships among these three variables with Kendall Tau correlation analysis. Research is concluded as follows: 1) From 30 janitors, 20 people is underload, the rest is overload; 2) janitor’s motivation criteria is good but still at the level of reactive motivation which dwells in hygienic factors issue; 3) Among the 30 janitors, 28 people got good ratings in performance and 2 people got enough ratings; 4) Analysis result shows that there are positive correlation between workload, motivation, and performance of janitorsen
