In every forest management system, forest inventory hold important role in providing various information either regarding forest area, forest stand or forest product. Within the forest inventory activities, development of supporting tools, such as tree volume table, tree height curve and crown diameter table is crusial task. This study describes a development of tree volume table and tree height curve of mangrove forest in PT. Bina Ovivipari Semesta area, West Kalimantan Province. The main study objective is to provide the best models for estimating standing tree volume and tree height. To achieve the study objective, a total number of 140 trees having various dbh size were selected purposively. All of the trees were felled, bucked, measured and calculated providing timber volume for each tree. From those tree samples, about 93 trees were randomly selected to develop estimation models, while the rest were used to perform validation test. On the statistical analysis, several tree volume and tree height models having simple, polynomial and multiple forms were examined and evaluated. This study found that the best model for estimating tree volume are V = 0.000064D2.93812210(- 0.00725xD) and V = 0.000021D3.4596710(-0.017984 x D) while the best model for estimating tree height is H = -1.6408+1.25458D–0.0097D2. This study concludes that tree volume and tree height curve for Rhizophora apiculata could be developed on the basis of diameter at breast height (dbh).
