dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research was to determine the correct frequency of lime addition at total dosage of 100 mg/ L to support rearing phase in order to maintain the continuity of calcium inside the culture media. The average length of crayfish used in this study was 3.48 ± 0.06 cm and the average weight was 1.14 ± 0.08 g. Containers used in this study was aquarium sized 50 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm. Lime addition treatments consisted of lime addition once at the initial stage of rearing at 100 mg/ L, once every 10 days at 33.34 mg/ L, once every 5 days at 16.67 mg/ L, and control treatment without lime addition. This research was performed for 30 days. Feed was given using at satiation, with feeding frequency of 2 times per day. The results showed that lime addition once every five days at 16.67 mg/L showed increasing specific growth rate at 1.64%. Based on the result of this study, it could be concluded that lime addition should be performed once | en |
