The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences between food habits and body image perception and the correlation between the two variables observed in overweight and normal nutritional status of junior high school boys students. This research used cross sectional design involved 100 students, 50 overweight and 50 normal status from two schools in Bogor. The data consist of individual and family characteristic, food habits, nutritional knowledge, body image perceptions, and healthy status. Most of the subject of 12 years old, with family members in the middle category, dan almost all parents are college graduates. Subjects have middle category of nutritional knowledge, and topic about healthy and safe food is answered correctly only by one third of the subjects.. The result found no difference in food habit (p>0.05), but significant difference (p=0.000) in body image perception. Was found no correlation (p>0.05) was between food habits and body image perception, but was found significant correlation exist (p=0.027) between nutritional knowledge and body image perception.
