This research was conducted to compare the sources of antioxidants on the concentrations of mother malondialdehyde and the appearance of late gestation mother that rations high PUFA with antioxidant and without antioxidant supplementation. This research used completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 4 replicates. Treatments that been used were P0 without antioxidant, P1: P0 + vitamin E 500 ppm, and P2: P0 + black tea extract 500 ppm. Parameters observed is the concentration of mother malondialdehyde, nutrient intake, daily body weight gain, feed efficiency, lambs birth weight and mortalitity lambs. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), if means were significantly different it would be further tested by Duncan multiple range test. Result showed that the suplementation of black tea extract is more effective than vitamin E to decrease the concentration of mother malondialdehyde. The suplementation of antioxidant did not affect to nutrient intake , daily body weight gain , feed efficiency and lambs birth weight.
