Eastern little tuna is a fish that has a high economic value so that it becomes one of the main targets in fishing activities. The purpose of this research was to assess the condition of Eastern little tuna stocks in the Sunda Strait. This research was carried out from June to September 2013. Data analysis consisted of: length weight relationship, growth parameter estimates, the rate of exploitation, and surplus production models. The results showed that Eastern little tuna has a negative allometric growth for males and isometric for females. The exploitation rate of eastern little tuna has exceeded the optimum exploitation rate that tongkol in the Sunda Strait alleged to have been overfished. Eastern little tuna stock assessment in the Sunda Strait with optimum efforts amount 7180 units per year and MSY 1 811 tonnes per year. Management that can be suggested is through restrictions on fishing units and selectivity of fishing gear.en
