dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to observed food consumption, physical activity and prisoners’s nutritional status at Paledang Prison Bogor. The design of study was cross sectional, 85 samples was collected in October 2013. The sampling technique was purposive, data was collected by questionnaire using an interview structured. The results showed that prisoners adequacy level of energy, protein, vitamin A, and Fe were categorized normal, whereas adequacy level of vitamin C, calcium, and phosphor were categorized deficit. Physical activity levels of prisoners were low category, prisoners nutritional status decrease since they stayed in prison. Chi-Square correlation test results showed there were no correlation between energy intake and protein with nutritional status, and time of detention with nutritional status (p>0.05), however there was negative correlation between physical activity with nutritional status (p<0.05). | en |
