dc.description.abstractThe objectives of this study were to determine the nutritional status, health status, consumption pattern and food acceptance of the elderly at Rumah Perlindungan Sosial Tresna Werdha Bogor. This study used cross sectional design. Research was done in October 2013. The subjects of this study were 34 elderly people with age over 60 years. Results showed that the average energy and protein consumption in elderly were 1454 kkal and 41.7 g. Food acceptance of elderly were adequate for taste of food (52.9%) as well as the portion of food (61.8%). The adequacy level of energy and protein mostly were deficit. Most of the elderly (41.2%) had normal nutritional status. The majority of the elderly (67.6%) were suffering from hypertension with mild hypertension. Correlation test results showed no significant relationship (p>0.05) between the adequacy level of energy and nutrient with nutritional status. Pearson correlation test results showed no significant relationship between blood preasure (p>0.05) and nutritional status.en
