dc.description.abstractPT Sepatu Mas Idaman is a company that produce leather shoes with branded trade mark, where so famous in Asia, America and Europe. Based on data from HRD 2013, PT Shoe Mas Idaman have high employee turnover since 2010 to 2012. it be the concern for HRD and management because reduce the performance company due to causes high levels of employee turnover in the last three years . The purpose of this researchis: (1) Identify the strategic of employee retention were implemented in PT Sepatu Mas Idaman. (2) Identify and analyze the factor, actor, goals, and alternative that considering by the company influence the employee retention strategic. (3) Formulated the alternative strategies to improving the performance of department. The Alternative of Employee Retention Strategic were selected according to the results of calculations by the method of AHP are: (1)The application of employee benefit programs is the first priority, vi fostering employee communication and employee incentives are the second and the third priorities. (2) The alternative suggested by employee benefits program is economic welfare system. (3) The priority alternative by maintaining communication is maintaining the ethics of communication. (4) The priority alternative base onemployee incentive is work according to the standard.en
