| dc.description.abstract | ISO 9000 is an international standard for quality management system and has proven as a system that effectively and efficiently can maintain and improve the quality of organization. Department of Management, FEM-IPB wants to implement the quality management system (QMS) ISO 9001:2008. The purposes of this research are 1) to identify the problems of preparation for implementation of the QMS ISO 9001:2008 in Department of Management, FEM-IPB, 2) to analyze the alternatives of preparation strategy for implementation of the QMS ISO 9001:2008, 3) to recommend the strategy of preparation for implementation the QMS ISO 9001:2008. There are four alternatives strategy of preparation for implementation QMS ISO 9001:2008 in Department of Management, FEM-IPB, there are 1) the training ISO by the internal expert person, 2) to invite the consultant to accompany the preparation, 3) to build the ISO Team, and 4) to study to the other department that has implementation of ISO.
