dc.description.abstractFibre is an important part of a healthy diet. A high fibre diet can improve digestive health. One of the best natural source of fiber is seaweed. The aim of this research is to identify the lack of fiber intake in Indonesia, then find the alternative solution by designing healty seaweed-based food. The methodology used was action research, implementing interview to collect data. The results showed that female aged 15-24 years had problems with the consumption of dietary fiber. As many as 76% of respondents realize their lack of fiber and they wanted extra fiber intake by consuming more practical product. Based on solution test data, 70% of respondents wanted product in the form of beverages. The products must be also naturalen
