dc.description.abstractThis study was aimed to understand food service, nutritional adequacy level and nutritional status of Taruna in Immigration Academy, Depok, West Java. This cross sectional study was conducted on May to July 2013. Total number of subjects was 63 Taruna. Component of food service system that has been applied by the food service party was 94.1%, consiste`d of menu planning, food purchasing, storage, processing, serving, hygiene, and sanitation. The energy adequacy level of most subjects (30.2%) were severe deficit. The protein adequacy level of most subjects (28.6%) were severe deficit. The adequacy level of phosphor and iron of most subjects (73.0%) were adequate both. The adequacy level of calcium, vitamin A, and vitamin C of subject were inadequate ( 55.6%, 50.8%, and 93.7% respectively). Most Taruna had normal (82.5%) nutritional status.en
