dc.description.abstractSMK Negeri 3 Kuningan is one of vocational school that located in Kabupaten Kuningan. SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan has achieved “A” acreditation and ISO certificate 9001:2008 in 2011. The objective of this research is to identify leadership style of the principal that implied in SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan, to identify the teachers’ motivation in SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan and analyze the effect of principals leadership model on teachers’ motivation in SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan. Most of the result of descriptive analysis showed that the teachers’ characteristics in SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan are males, with bachelor degree as their educational background, the religion majority is Islam, the range of teachers ages are 23-58 years old, and the length of work between 1 to 37 years. The SEM result using PLS method showed that the principal applied the charismatic leadership model, and the teachers’ motivation which influenced the most is responsibility. According to result of this effect of principals leadership model on teachers motivation is positive and significant, it can be seen from the beta of 7.414 (ttable significant 5% = 1.96)en
