dc.description.abstractAccess regime pelagic offishery resource management in Indonesia is open access. Open access is not the case in Indonesia purely because of the pelagic offishery resource utilization multispesies as in the Bali Strait are limited number ofpurse seine fleet to entry the waters. Therefore, the purpose of this study were (1) identify multispesies status of fishery resources in the Bali Strait pelagic on various conditions including the exploitation of open access (OA), maximum sustainable yield (MSY), maximum economic yield (MEY) and optimal (OPT) (2) formulate policies and laws relating to the management of pelagic fisheries multispesies in the Bali Strait. The results of this study indicate that the conditions of exploitation of fisheries resources mutispesies OA pelagic fishing effort level is very large with very few catches, giving rise to economic inefficiency.en
