Pengaruh Karakteristik Keluarga, Karakteristik Individu, Kecerdasan Kognitif, dan Self Regulated Learning terhadap Prestasi Akademik Remaja
Abstract
Academic achievement affected by external and internal factors. This study generally aims to see the influence of family characteristics (income and parental education), individual characteristics (age and gender), cognitive intelligence, and self-regulated learning toward academic achievement in adolescents. A total of 91 samples had a mean age of 13.9 years with the largest percentage of the respondents were women that drawn from two differents junior high schools. Cognitive intelligence, self regulated learning, and academic achievement were measured by using RIBLS, MSLQ, and values from school record. The partial analysis showed there is negative influence of mother’s education to self regulated learning. Moreover positive influence of gender showed to cognitive intelligence. The regression analysis showed parental education and cognitive intelligence of adolescents have a positive influence to academic achievement. Meanwhile, income families, gender, and self regulated learning no significant influence to academic achievement.
