Hubungan Pola Konsumsi, Status gizi dan Aktivitas Fisik dengan Kadar Asam Urat Lansia Wanita Peserta Posbindu Sinarsari
Abstract
Arthritis is one of the diseases that are often found in women aged 55-70 years who often occured after menopause. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between consumption patterns, nutritional status, physical activity with levels of uric acid in older women. Study design used in this study is a cross-sectional design. The sampling of this reasearh is 48 elderly people ≥50 years. There was significant difference (p<0.05) on age of menopause among the samples of normal and high uric acid level. There was no relationship between water consumption, coffee drinking habits, consumption of energy, carbohydrate intake, protein intake, fat intake, purines intake, nutritional status, physical activity and exercise habits with uric acid levels in the sample. There is a relationship between age at menopause with high levels of uric acid in the sample (p<0.05).
