dc.description.abstract | The aims of this study was to analyze the influence of parenting style of mother and peer attachment on adolescent’s self-concept. Sample of this research were the families with working and nonworking mother had teenager child which is aged 12-15 years who lived in Kebon Pedes and Kedung Badak Village, Tanah Sareal, Bogor City. There were 100 families selected randomly consisting of 50 working mother families and 50 nonworking mother families that were interviewed by questionnaire. The result of corellation test showed there were significant relationships between gender, age of parents and adolescents, family’s income, authoritative parenting, authoritarian parenting, permissive parenting, and peer attachment with adolescent’s self concept. Based on regression test, it was found that variables influenced adolescent’s self concept were adolescent’s allowance, families’s socio-economic, authoritative parenting style, and peer attachment. | en |
