dc.description.abstractThe increasing of women working in the public sector are increase, both formal and informal areas that could rise some problem either in the family or work place, so we need a good family resource management. This study aimed to analyze the difference between the work value and family resource management in families with both husband and wife work in the formal and informal areas and work force to 8 hours/day or more than 8 hours/day. The sample in this study are working wives that had children aged 0-9 years old, working on the formal and informal areas, and allocation of working time up to 8 hours/day or more than 8 hours/day. Using stratified non proporsional random sampling from 160 samples. There was a significant differences of work value and family resources management on types of job. Work value and family resources management are higher in wives who work in formal job than informal job, and higher in wives with allocation of working time more than 8 hours/day than wives with allocation of working time up to 8 hours/day.en
