dc.description.abstractPopulation mortality data of a country is usually given in life tables. Based on the age interval, life tables are divided into two, Abridged life tables and complete life tables. The abridged life table is often used by state with incomplete population mortality data. In life insurance, life tables are used to determining the amount of premium to be paid by the insurance holder. This paper creates the continuous model for the complete life table based on the abridged life table. By comparing the coefficient of determination of the Kostaki method (2000), exponential model (Rachmadani 2006), and continuous models, this work concludes that the best life table is produced by the Kostaki methen
