dc.description.abstractThe objectives of this research is to analyze the effect of nutrition education on the nutrition knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of mother. This research was experimentally conducted by the randomized block design in two sub-districts of Bogor: Ciomas and Dramaga. The research samples are 16 posyandu which were chosen from both areas and randomly assigned to either control or intervention group. Based on the General Linear Model (GLM) analysis, the effect of nutrition education and intervention were significantly influenced by the nutrition knowledge and attitude and nutrition practice of the mother on preschool consumption manangement (P<0.05). It was not significantly influenced by the nutrition practice of the mother on daily family consumption habits and nutritional status of preschool children. It is recommended that nutrition education should be held continuously in all posyandu so the mothers always aware and improve the nutritional status of their preschool children.en
