Dinamika Transfer Energi Pada Protein α-Heliks Berdasarkan Ansatz I Model Davydov Dengan Variasi Kopling Antar Peptida
Abstract
A basic problem of many biological processes at biomolecular level is mechanism of transfer of bioenergy released by ATP hydrolysis in protein. Davydov’sModel is a model that could describe that mechanism. The Davydov’s model adopted in this research use ansatz as trial function with the variation of dipole-dipole coupling between nearest unit of peptides in the form of a constant function, gaussian function, gradient-line function. We found three dynamical cases that are travelling soliton, bending soliton and breathing soliton. The dynamics are related to the energy transfer in the protein and deflection of soliton that can be controlled by strength of dipole-dipole coupling (Jn), coupling of exciton-phonon ( χ ), and initial condition.
