Abstract
The purpose of this internship is to improve technical and managerial skill. The internship program was conducted at Pasewaran Estate, PTPN XII, Banyuwangi, East Java for three months from February 13th until May 13th 2012. The methods of this internship is conducted by following all the practices in the field, discussion, and plant observation. The information were collected including primary and secondary data. The primary data are number of growth buds after pruning, percentage of bud growing after pruning, percentage of flowering after pruning, and technical practices of viticulture in Pasewaran Estate. The secondary data is company data. Pruning management of grape vine affectes productivity. The number of shoots which are left after pruning affect growth buds. Not all buds will grow into new shoots after pruning. The number of buds that are left on the cutting determines the number of new shoots emerging. Flowering occurs in plants after growing shoots after pruning. Grafting vine varieties by Jestro AG 60 with Kediri Kuning shows no different success than grafting with a variety of Prabu Bestari with Jestro AG 60.
