Analisis Karakteristik Lanjut Usia dengan Hubungan Antar Generasi di Desa Cihideung Ilir Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract

The phenomenon indicates that there is an increase in the number of elderly. Increasing the number of elderly will sprout the problems. This research intends to see the characteristic of senior people and the relationship between generation in Cihideung Ilir village, Bogor regency. Respondents taken at random with the help of MS. Excel to the number of 30 people. The result showed generally elder people around 60-74 years old just elementary school graduates, are still married with the status of low social and economic status and did not work either while the majorityrole as the heads of family. Generally, the characteristic elder people will influence their involvement role in children’s family and effect to their extended family in taking care of them.
