dc.description.abstract | The principle of live streaming is to deliver recording media streaming directly from a device to a client who asks, without saving the recording media in to the client’s storage. The quality of live streaming is influenced by several factors, among which are the resolution, video bit-rate and network conditions. This research is expected to give a performance of live streaming technology to limit the resolution and video bit-rate of 802.11 g wireless network for two different players. Video results processed at the broadcaster recording using MPEG-4 H.264 and AAC audio format. The resolutions used are 176x144 pixel, 320x240 pixel and 640x480 pixel. Video bit-rates used are 256 Kbps, 512 Kbps, 768 Kbps and 1024 Kbps. The analysis was done by performing capture streaming service on the server side. The analysis includes the performance parameters of throughput and delay packet. The result is video with resolution 320x240 pixel is the best resolution and is able to adapt to different video bit-rate. However, the result in the network load is not too different both from the broadcasters to the server or from server to the client. | en |
