dc.description.abstract | An experiment to study the influence of packaging material and initial seed moisture content on soybean seed storability was conducted at Seed Science and Technology Laboratory, Bogor Agricultural University, from October 1985 •to May 1986. Three kinds of packaging material and two levels of initial seed moisture content were. tested in a factorial completely randomized des.ign, with 3 replications. Seeds were stored at room temperature. The results indicated that polyethylene . bag 0.08 mm, alumunium foil bag and tin box were effective to store seed with 9.13% (d.b.) initial moisture content. To store soybean seed until 6 months suggested use polyethylen bag 0.08 mm with initial seed moisture content 9.13%. | en |
