PENGGUNAAN METODE BODY SHAPE QUESTIONNAIRE (SSQ) DAN FIGURE RATING SCALE (FRS) UNTUK PENGUKURAN PERSEPSI TUSUH REMAJA PEREMPUAN
Abstract
The research objective was to analyze the application of Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) with Figure Rating Scale (FRS) for measuring body image of female adolescents. The cross-sectional study design was conducted in the high school (SMAN 1 Bogor). whereas the 77 female students selected as a samples. The results showed that most 01 the student had a negative body perception based on the BSQ (88.3%) and FRS (94.8%). The body perception was Influenced mostly by their parents (90.9%), peers (80.5%) and mass media (68.8%). The adolescent females made efforts to achieved body Ideal through combination meal and exercise (58.4"1.) and diet restriction (24.7%). Meanwhile, 36.4%. of samples applied unproper activities for their body ideal. The esc had sensitivity (Se) 75% and specificity (Sp) 90.4% compared to the FRS. Meanwhile, the esc's reliability test was 0.875. In the conclusion, the BSC and FRS have almost similar results for measuring body perception of adolescent females.
