Pengaruh Pemberian Kayu Manis terhadap Kinerja Pertumbuhan dan Kualitas Daging Ikan Mas
Abstract
This research was carried out to evaluate the effect of Cinnammomun burmanni as a supplement in the diet on the growth performance and flesh quality of the common carp Cyprinus carpio. A triplicate experiment was conducted using fish with an initial body weight of 7,88 ± 1,41 g. Fish were culture in aquaria 50x40x35 cm3 at a density of 10 fish/aquaria. Fish were fed on the diet contained either 0%,0,25%, 0,5%, 0,75%, or 1% respectively. Fish fed on the diet at satiation for 37 days. The results showed that the addition of Cinnammomun burmanni in the diet from 0% to 1% was insignificantly affected the growth and survival rate of fish. However, the addition of Cinnamomumn burmanni reduced feed efficiency. On the other hand, fish flavor and flesh texture were affected by the addition of Cinnamomun burmanni in the diet. The diet of 0,75% Cinnamomumn burmanni were the optimal result of this research with the sweet flavor and compact texture.
