      Abstract
The objective of the research was to study allelopathic effect of weeds Cyperus rotundus, Ageratum conyzoides, and Digitaria adscendens on growth and yield of tomatoes. The research was arranged in split plot design with two factors and three replications. Type of weeds (C. rotundus, A. conyzoides, and D. adscendens) as the main plot. The concentration of weed extract (0 g l-1, 40 g l-1, 80 g l-1, and 120 g l-1,) as the subplot. The results showed that the weed of C. rotundus, A. conyzoides, and D. adscendens have the same allelopathic affected the growth and yield of tomatoes. Concentration of 40 g l-1, reduced the number of leaves by 7.34%, the number of branches by 26.42%, and fruit total per plant by 21.63% compared to control. Based on GC-MS analysis was identified the allelochemical compounds of weeds C. rotundus, A. conyzoides, and D. adscendens such as ketones, steroids, terpenes, triterpenes, sesquiterpenes, phenol, ethanol, pentanoic acid, coumarin, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, myristic acid, and stearic acid. The research was implied that controlling of C. rotundus, A. conyzoides, and D. adscendens on early time is needed to minimalize the effect of weed allelopathic on tomato crops.
