Hubungan Pola Asuh, Status Gizi dan Status Kesehatan Anak Balita Korban Gempa dan Tsunami di Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam

Abstract

Earthquake and tsunami tragedy that was happened on December 26th, 2004 at nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) effects social economic and social welfare of people whose being the victim.This study analyzed parenting. nutritional status and health status of under five years children whose being the victim of earthquake and tsunami at Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.This study used d cross-sectional design. Subjects were idp's. families who live with relative in their families home and camp.Data collected included socioeconomic of families and children. parenting. nutritional status and health status. Data on parenting were collected through an interview (used questionnaire). Nutritional status was calculated by using NCHS z-score. There was a significant correlation betweel1 parenting and education offather and mother (0.41 ** and 0.62** respectively) and a significant correlation with family income even before and after earthquake and tsunami (0.6/** and 0.73**). Both age and sex of the Children were have a significant correlation with parenting (-0.35** and 0.27* respectively).Mother education, number of family member and family income after earthquake and tsunami were have a significant correlation with nutritional status of children under five years old ( 0.16*, 0.33* and 0.25* respectively).Meanwhile sex of children under jive years old has a significant correlation with nutritional status (0.30*) .
