      Pendugaan Parameter Genetik dan Hubungan Antar Hasil Dengan Beberapa Karakter Kuantitatif Plasma Nutfah Nenas

      Abstract
      The objectives of this research were estimate genetic and phenotypic variabilities, heritabilities and correlation between yield and quantitative characters on several accessions of pineapples. A total of 26 pineapple (Ananas comosus L.Merr) genotypes were evaluated to estimate genetic variabilities and heritabilities of quantitative characters. A genetic correlation, multiple regression and path cofficient analysis were conducted to determine correlation between several quantitative characters with fruit weight. Field experiment conducted at Pasir Kuda Experiment Station, from October 2004 to Nopember 2006 with a completely Randomized Block Design, 26 treatments (accessions) and two replications. The result show that the characters of number of leaves length of leaf, number of hapas, days to flowers, days to harvest, peduncle diameter, fruit length, fruit diametre, number of spiral, flesh thickness, total acid and vitamin C had broad genetic, phenotypic variabilities and high heritabilities. plant height, leaf wide, days to harvest, peduncle diametre, fruit length, number of spiral, fruit diametre, flesh thickness, core diametre, and vitamin c were positively and signifantly correlated with fruit weight. Plant height, canopy diametre, number of spiral, fruit diametre, flesh thickness, core diametre, and total acid had positive direct effect on fruit weight. The plan height, number of spiral, fruit diametre and flesh thickness should be used as a good selection criteria for improvement of fruit weight.
