dc.description.abstractDammar is Indonesian nontimber agro forest products, one of them is cat eye dammar. This dammar has been recognized as the best dammar in the world and can be used as food additive. This research was conducted to develop c10udijier from cat eye dam mar in Lampung. Cloudijier developed should meet the required specijications: (a) turbidity of 1% wlv concentration in water 200±20 FTU, and (b) stable at least within 12 weeks. The method includes extraction of nonpolymer components in ethanol at concentration of 6. 0-25.5 gil andftltration. Theftltrate obtained is a clear liquid with turbidity of2I1 FTU if diluted 100 times with water. Applying c10udijier in cloudy drink with or without the addition of 12% sucrose produces a good cloudy drink which is stable for more than 12 weeks at room temperature, based on its appearance and turbidity changes. Acute toxicity test indicated that obtained c10udijier is practically non toxic.en
