dc.description.abstractThis research is part of activities in IMHERE B2C IPB Strengthening Agricultural Research For Food Security And Sovereignty. Implementation of the research project will assess the Development of Automated Irrigation Systems For Food Production Land with research focus on the mechanism of data acquisition. Data acquisition is performed using the Arduino Duemilanove microcontroller. Arduino Duemilanove can perform data retrieval as well as having an ADC module, so as to facilitate the conversion of data from analog data into digital data. From the datasheet, ADC module on the Arduino Duemilanove has an error range of ± 2 LSB or ± 0.0092 V with a reference voltage of 4.67 V. In this experiment measurements obtained by the difference in value between the multimeter and the microcontroller of 0.00840 V, and the scores fall in the range of values of the ADC module conversion error. SD Memory Card can be selected as a data logger for managing data storage easilyen
