Kajian tingkat akurasi instrumen motorik milestone anak usia 3-18 bulan

Abstract

Child growth and development during 3 to 18 months of age is crucial for the quality of child's life. Under nutrition in young ages will badly affect to the physics and intelligence of the children. The fact shows that according to child's age, every child has different pattern of motoric milestone. Center for Food and Nutrition Research and Development in Bogor has developed a chart of children's motoric development, describing the motoric development of Indonesian healthy children. Therefore, this research was attempted to identify the accuracy of that chart. The cross-sectional research was conducted to 100 children aged 3-18 months in Sub-district of Cimahi Utara. The data collected consisted of motoric milestone, nutritional and health status. The observation for motoric milestone and motoric milestone chart were used for the standard. The children's body length and weight were measured using length measurement and ribbon/scale Seca electronic scale as a weight measurement. The data was analyzed using chi square (p< 0.05) to identify the relationship between children's nutritional status and motoric development. Moreover, the sensitivity and specificity analysis were also done to identify the accuracy between children's nutritional status and motoric development. The results showed that there were no relationship between children's nutritional status and their motoric development (p>a). In addition, the specific of the children's motoric development chart was very low, i.e. only 32%. However, this result must be further proven in other regions with different sample characteristics
