The aim of this research was to develop a technique for micro propagation of bananas planlet, that was associated with rhizobacteria as biological control agent as early as possible, that will make bananas seedling able to suppress the wilt disease severity caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp cubense (E.F. Smith). The above goal was accomplished through 5 simultaneous research studies that were connected one to the other, i.e. : (1) The effect of TDZ to induce of axilar shoot of plantain mother plant cv Rajabulu (AAB) and cv Tanduk (AAB) on in vitro culture, (2) Study of multiplication medium effect on explant of cv Rajabulu (AAB) and cv Tanduk (AAB) plantains induced by TDZ, (3) In vitro coculture of rhizobacteria with Rajabulu (AAB) and Tanduk (AAB) plantain explants and and its effect on shoots multiplication, (4) The effect of in vitro bacterization timing and rhizobacteria types onto growth of seedling stadium and immature plant stadiumof cv Rajabulu (AAB) and cv Tanduk (AAB) plantains in the greenhouse. (5) The effectivity of rhizobacteria in vitro application in term of growth promote and antagonist agent of Fusarium wilt on cv Rajabulu and cv Tanduk plantain in the greenhouse. Pencapaian tujuan diperoleh melalui penelitian yang terdiri dari lima percobaan yang saling berkaitan antara satu dengan yang lainnya: (1) Pengaruh TDZ terhadap induksi tunas aksilar pada mother plant pisang Rajabulu (AAB) dan pisang Tanduk (AAB) dalam kultur in vitro. (2) Pengaruh media multiplikasi terhadap eksplan pisang Rajabulu (AAB) dan pisang Tanduk (AAB) yang berasal dari media induksi dengan penambahan TDZ (3) Kokultur rizobakteri dengan eksplan pisang Rajabulu (AAB) dan pisang Tanduk (AAB) serta pengaruhnya terhadap multiplikasi tunas secara in vitro (4) Pengaruh waktu bakterisasi in vitro dan macam rizobakteri terhadap pertumbuhan bibit pisang Rajabulu (AAB) dan pisang Tanduk (AAB) di rumah kaca. (5) Efektifitas aplikasi rizobakteri in vitro sebagai pendukung pertumbuhan dan agen antagonis layu Fusarium pada pisang Rajabulu dan pisang Tanduk di rumah kaca.
