Abstract

City development tends to reduce the area oj'grt.cn open space, and converted to built environment. Unbalance between built environment and green open space causes the decreasing environment comfort. Many studies reveal that green open spaces in urban urea affected the decrease of temperature. Neighborhood park as a green open space at residential scale might to has impact to decrease air temperature The pur pas e of this study was to explore Neighborhood Park in influencing air temperature at residential scale. The result showed that the further distance away from park the air temperature become higher. The fluctuation of temperature distributing on every road was influenced by the existence cf the trees at roadside. Accordingly, the creating of comfortable and functional neighborhood park for the residents must concerti the design inside and surrounding the pari
