dc.description.abstractConformity site selection for mariculture Tiger Grouper (Ephinephelus fuscogutattus) in net floating cages has been done in Panggang Island, Thousand Islands by using Geographical Information System. The evaluation of water quality in Panggang Island was based on physical and chemical aspecs, so Panggang Island is suitable for mariculture Tiger Grouper (Ephinephelus fuscogutattus) in net floating cages. The parameter were observed to see the water quality include substrat parameter, depth, protected area, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, brightness, flow rate, pH and amoniac. The result shows that the area for mariculture of Tiger Grouper (Ephinephelus fuscogutattus) in net floating cages accounts for 0,94 Km2 in category class very suitable, 2,32 Km2 in category class suitable, and 3,20 Km2 in category class not suitable.en
