| dc.description.abstract | Development of Industrial Forests (HTI), particularly outside Java often faced with complex problems. These problems arise due to the overlapping area between the concession companies to the area controlled by the community. This occurred in the area of Business License Utilization of Forest Plantation Timber (IUPHHK HT) PT. Nityasa Idol in West Kalimantan. Thus, firms in an effort to conduct activities for the development of timber planting need to reconcile with the community, such as every hectare of land that cooperation will be given a replacement of Rp. 60.000/hektar, tree spacing results conducted on the half-cycle (4 years) of Rp. 2.500/m3, obtained from logging during harvest (8 years) of Rp. 5,000 / m3, and the provision of free rubber seedlings were 21 stems / ha. Social relations among villages surrounding the management company IUPHHK HT PT. Nityasa Idol has been running through a program of activities PMDH. Programs that have run companies, such as training programs and making permanent agriculture, land cooperation with treaty land compensation, educational assistance for teacher salaries, and other social assistance. The program has not been going well so necessary in the evaluation, such as the lack of follow-up assistance training program, not optimal settled agricultural activities, because of lack of socialization and mentoring, the need for optimization of assistance that leads to an increase of places of worship, education, and health, increase cooperation and participation of community leaders, evaluating the content of the land compensation agreement, including the implementation of payment, planting and maintenance activities, lack of employee skills, such as knowledge of the forest industry plants and communication techniques. The problems faced in the implementation of such programs is the number of villages PMDH partner, limited executive power PMDH, lack of good cooperation between companies and local governments, the lack of implementation of activities PMDH, not PMDH activities periodically.
