dc.description.abstractRaw sligar is a sugar wl1ich comes from defecation alld still contains impurities and colorants. The objectives of this research \",ere to determined factor influence an(1 opt;lll l 'll' condition of carbonCltatioll process for raw sugar bleaching with loop venturi reactor. Used method ill this research \Vas two level factorial with four factors. which were temperature. flow tluid of liquid. pres::,ure. and time reactioll. Meanwhile. response surface methodology was used to found optimum conditions of response surface. From statistical analysis, temperature and flow Iluid of liquid \\ere having inlluence significantly with reducing color level of raw sLigar liquid in level significance 95.79% and 92.18%) respectively. with influcnce 1.5151;<'0 and 0.119% respectively. From response surt:lce method analysis found the he;:;! conditions of color level was minimum. il was 393.78 IU with factor v,due oftunperatLlre reaction was 51.51 °C. flow tluid of liquid was 465.57 IIh, pressure was 0.3 kg/cm". and reaction time \vas ::; minutcs.id
