dc.description.abstractPost tin-mining land cause of changing in landscape and soil physical and chemical characteristics. Tailing characteristics are very unique and influencing by environmental condition and succession process in the area. The research aims are: (1) to study soils and vegetation characteristics and their natural changing on 4 different ages of tailing (2) to study rehabilitation technique of post tin-mining degraded land for revegetation purposes (3) to study influence of ameliorant on soil chemical properties on four different ages of tailing. Research methods comprise: soil analysis and vegetation analysis conducted using double path-partition method for trees and path-partition quadrate for under growths. Physical and chemical characteristic of soil post tin-mining area show low fertility level and gradually getting better through time. J6 types of local vegetations invade the land of post tin mining area. Rehabilitation technique was studied as a greenhouse experiment.id
