Pengaruh Tumpangsari Jagung Dan Pemberian Mulsa Terhadap Produksi Tanaman Kentang

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of corn spacings in intercropping systems and mulching on potato tuber yield. Three factors examined were potato varieties, corn row spacings and mulcing. The experiment was conducted at Cisarua at about 900 m above sea level. The results showed that corn intercropped at 2.25 rri spacing did not decrease potato yield significantly but corn intercropped at 1.50 m spacing did. Corn shading at close row spacing reduced yield by decreasing the tuber yield of medium and big size. Mulching increased yield by rising the tuber yield ofmedium and big size, and decreased tuber yield.
