Pengaruh Aplikasi GA3 terhadap Pembungaan Tanaman Anthurium andreanum cv. Avo Cuba

Abstract

The objective of the research was to determine the effect of GA, application on the flowering of Anthurium andreanum cv. Avo Cuba. The experiment consisted of two factors namely dosage and frequency of application. There were four levels of GA, dosage : 0, 10, 20, 30 mg per plant and two pequencies of application : once or twice with one half dosage each. The result showed that GA, increased leaf area, length offlower stalk, and the number offlower produces', shortened the tlme of flower emergence and harvest date. GA, did not influence flower size and vase Irfe. Theji-equency of application had no eflect on AnthurlumJlowering. There was no interaction of dosage andpequency of application. Dosage of GA, at 10 mgper plant gave good effect on reproductive characteristics.
