The Research was done to observe influence of addition of maltosa to liquid semen quality which kept at refrigerator temperature. Semen was collected once a week using artificial vagina from six mature Garut rams. The result on the 4 th day evaluation, addition of maltosa with dose 1,2 g /100 ml into the egg yolk tris extender indicated that percentages of progressive motile sperm, percentages of viable sperm, percentages of plasma membrane and acrosomal intact (55,83 ± 3,76%; 67,67 ± 1,63%; 59,83 ± 1,94% and 62,83 ± 3,49%) were significantly higher difference (p<0,05) than control (46,67 ± 4,08%; 60,00 ± 3,35%; 53,17 ± 1,17% and 52,67 ± 2,07%) respectively . In conclusion, the addition of maltosa with dose 1,2 g/ 100 ml is optimal dose to improve the quality of liquid semen of Garut rams. Maltosa can be used as the source of energi by Garut ram sperm in maintaining motility, viability, plasma membrane and acrosomal integrity
