Pertumbuhan Saluran Pencernaan, Hati dan Pankreas Ayam Kampung dari Kecamatan Sukaraja, Kabupaten Sukabumi

Abstract

Fifty three local chicken consisted of 28 males and 25 females, were used to study the growth of alimentary tract, liver and pancreas. Body wei&t varied from 100 to 2 000 g. Relative to empty body weight, the growth coefficients (b) of the weight of total alimentary tract, oesophagus + crop, proventriculus, ventriculus , smdl intestines, caecum and large intestines , and the length of small intestines, caecum and large intestines, and the mei&t of liver and pancreas were 0.64, 0.71, 0.44, 0.67, 0.57, 0.66, 0.73, 0.15, 0.25, 0.16, 0.69 and0.55 formales. Those for femdles, were 0.65, 0.77, 0.51, 0.62, 0.58, 0.68, 0.93, 0.22, 0.33, 0.21, 0.72 and 0.54, rcr;-?ec tl v2lly. Relative the total meight of alimentary tract, the coefficients (b) of the weight of oesophagus + crop, proventriculus, ventriculus, small intestimes, caecum, large intestines and the length of s m a l l intestines , caecwn and large intestines were 1.10, 0.69, 1.06, 0.909 1.01, 1.13, 0.25, 0.39 and 0.31 for males. Those for females were 1.16, 0.76, 0.77, 0.92, 1.04, 1.37, 0.34, 0.51 and 0.3 1, respec tivelly .
