dc.description.abstractA greenhouse experiment was conducted a t Tajur, Bogor. Four upland kangkung were used, namely: Sukabumi, Uningan, Bangkok and Sutera, A l l planted from seeds and in addition for Sukabumi cuttings were also tested, The r e s u l t show that rapid early growth was shown by Bangkok, Sukabumi A, and Sutera, Bangkok is the best variety, giving minimum yield of 49.9 g/plant within 6 weeks with 75 percent edible portion, The best harvesting date was twice a t 5 and 8 weeks for Sukabumi, twice a t 4 and 7 weeks for Bangkok and once a t 7 weeks for Kuningan and Sutera, A canparison were being made for their growth habit.id
