DINAR PRASISTA BACHRI. The White Blood Cell of Neonates Friesian Holstein Cows were Given Colostrum and Challenged With Escherichia coli. Under directed Drh. Anita Esfandiari, M.Si and Drh. Retno Wulansari, M.Si, Ph.D The aim of this research is to determine total white blood cell neonates Friesian Holstein (FH) cows were given colostrum and challenged with Escherichia coli. Fourth neonates FH cows were used in this experiment and consisting of two treatment, the treatment were given colostrum from the cows vaccinated with E. coli K-99 polivalen vaccine (3 calves) whereas the other ones were given milk. Colostrum and milk were given at 0 hour of neonates cows age and then challenged with E. coli K-99 5X1010CFU per oral at the 12 hour of post nates. Blood sample were taken from jugular vein on 0, 12th, 24th, 48th, 72nd, and 168th hour. Based on the observation, it can be concluded that the total of white blood cell colostrum treatment increased faster than milk treatment.
