The iron (11) - 1,10 phenantroline complex has been examined as an extracting cation for determination of anionic detergents standards. The form of complex was very stable and could quantitatively extracted the anionic detergents. This process required a single step extraction only. The quantitatively of extraction did not affected by the pH solution between 2,5 - 10. Optimum extraction by the ferroin could be found at the molar ratio of 1 : 2.5 between ~ ean~d p+hena ntroline and the ratio 15 : 1 between ferroin and anionic detergents. The sample with 75 ml of volume could be extracted quantitatively by 10 ml chloroform as extracting solution with 2 minutes of shaking. The detergents concentration range at 0.5 ppm - 5.0 ppm and 0.25 ppm - 3.5 ppm could be used for the sample of 50 ml and 75 ml respectively. The iron (11) - 1,10 phenantroline complex showed high selective for extracting anionic detergents. The presence of certain ions in the sample in competitively concentraction range, did not interfere the extraction process.id
