      Pertumbuhan, Hasil, dan Total Flavonoid Tanaman Maman Ungu (Cleome rutidosperma) Dengan Perbedaan Komposisi Media Tanam dan Frekuensi Panen

      Abstract
      Maman ungu (Cleome rutidosperma) merupakan tanaman obat yang mengandung senyawa flavonoid dengan berbagai manfaat farmakologis, tetapi belum memiliki teknik budidaya yang optimal untuk meningkatkan produksi dan senyawa bioaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh komposisi media tanam dan frekuensi panen terhadap pertumbuhan, hasil, total flavonoid tanaman maman ungu. Penelitian dilakukan di Gunung Batu, Bogor, Indonesia, dari Januari hingga April 2025, menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah komposisi media tanam dengan empat taraf: 0, 1:1, 1:2, dan 1:3 (tanah: pupuk kandang sapi v/v). Faktor kedua adalah frekuensi panen, yang terdiri dari dua taraf, yaitu satu kali panen pada umur 8 minggu setelah tanam (MST) dan dua kali panen pada umur 4 dan 8 MST. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua komposisi media tanam tanah dan pupuk kandang sapi dapat digunakan. Sementara itu, kadar total flavonoid pada umur 4 MST nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada umur 8 MST. Produksi total flavonoid untuk dua kali panen secara nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan satu kali panen. Dua kali panen menghasilkan produksi total flavonoid sebesar 5.639,80 mg QUE/bobot kering tanaman, yang nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan satu kali panen yang hanya menghasilkan 1.456,50 mg QUE/bobot kering tanaman. Analisis profil metabolit menggunakan GC-MS mengidentifikasi 14 senyawa utama, meliputi asam lemak, diterpenoid, steroid, vitamin E dan fitosterol.
       
      Purple cleome (Cleome rutidosperma) is a medicinal plant known for its flavonoid content, which confers multiple pharmacological benefits. However, cultivation methods to optimize both biomass production and bioactive compound accumulation remain underdeveloped. This study aimed to assess the influence of planting media composition and harvesting frequency on the growth, yield, and total flavonoid concentration of purple cleome. The experiment was conducted in Gunung Batu, Bogor, Indonesia, from January to April 2025, employing a twofactor randomized block design. The first factor was planting media composition, with four treatments: 100% soil (0) and soil mixed with cow manure at ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 (v/v). The second factor was harvesting frequency, with two levels: a single harvest at 8 weeks after planting (WAP) and two harvests at 4 and 8 WAP. Results indicated that all tested media compositions effectively supported plant growth. Notably, total flavonoid concentration was significantly higher at 4 WAP compared to 8 WAP. Moreover, cumulative flavonoid yield from two harvests was significantly greater, reaching 5,639.80 mg quercetin equivalents (QUE) per plant dry weight, compared to 1,456.50 mg QUE/plant from a single harvest. These findings suggest that harvesting at multiple intervals enhances flavonoid yield in purple cleome cultivation. Metabolite profiling using GC-MS identified 14 major compounds, including fatty acids, diterpenoids, steroids, vitamin, and phytosterols.
