dc.description.abstractKebocoran tepi merupakan permasalahan yang muncul pasca restorasi gigi yang menyebabkan terjadinya karies sekunder. Hal ini disebabkan adhesi material yang kurang saat berinteraksi dengan struktur gigi. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan preparasi berbagai jenis bahan restorasi gigi meliputi nanohidroksiapatit (nano HA), kaca bioaktif dan komposit nano HA/kaca bioaktif serta dilakukan uji kebocoran tepi pada gigi premolar. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa semua gigi yang direstorasi dengan berbagai jenis bahan memiliki kecoran tepi yang lebih rendah dibandingkan gigi yang direstorasi dengan produk komersial yang ditunjukkan dengan penetrasi methylene blue. Hasil serupa juga terlihat pada hasil uji kompresi gigi yang telah direstorasi dimana nilai tertinggi diperoleh pada gigi yang direstorasi dengan komposit nano HA/kaca bioaktif.
dc.description.abstractMicroleakage is a problem that occurs after tooth restoration and can lead to secondary caries. This is caused by poor adhesion of the material to the tooth structure. In this study, various types of dental restoration materials were prepared, including nanohydroxyapatite (nano HA), bioactive glass, and nano HA/bioactive glass composites, and marginal leakage tests were conducted on premolar teeth. The test results showed that all teeth restored with various materials had lower marginal leakage than those restored with commercial products, as indicated by methylene blue penetration. Similar results were also observed in the compression test results for restored teeth, with the highest value obtained in teeth restored with the nano HA/bioactive glass composite.
